The Band Festival

The Band Festival in Cortina d'Ampezzo has now reached its 33rd edition!!

This year 15 musical bands from Italy, Austria and Slovenia will contribute towards creating a week of rousing musical events.

The programme will open on August 23^rd and close on August 30^th with a maxi concert and a band parade throughout the streets of Cortina. 

Tentative Programme:

Sunday August 23rd: 9.15pm - Concert of the Cortina Music Band

From Monday to Thursday: 9.15pm - Bands in concert

Friday 28^th : 6pm and 9.15pm - Bands in concert

Saturday 29^th : 11am, 6pm and 9.15pm - Bands in concert

Sunday 30th:
8:30am: musical wake-up call with a parade of the Music Band
10am: Mass in the parish church accompanied by the Cortina Music Band
11am: Concert of a guest Band on the bandstand in front of the Hotel Royal
2pm: Grand Parade of Bands

3:30pm: Maxi concert in largo poste

From 4pm to 5pm concerts in the five squares in Cortina
7:30pm: Musical arrivederci with the Cortina Music Band
